Aponte Indigenous Reserve
Honey Process
We are obsessed with this new feature from the Aponte indigenous reserve in Colombia. This region was run by drug cartels for years, but now a revitalization of the area has replaced coca plants with coffee and other agriculture. We taste both tart berries and white grapes. As an espresso it has a velvety smooth mouthfeel with a sweetness that reminds us of crème brûlée. As a filter coffee, the berry notes really shine.
We taste: Raspberries, Grapes, Crème Brûlée
